The University of New Hampshire Sailing Team is a co-ed sports club based on the University’s Durham campus. All students are welcome, regardless of experience. Most sailors devote most of their extracurricular time to the team. Others drop by occasionally to learn about the sport and enjoy our  practice area on Mendums Lake in Barrington, New Hampshire a mere 12 minutes from campus.

If you’re considering attending UNH and you have sailing experience, we’d love to show you around.

Never seen a sailboat before? No problem! Plenty of team members arrive at the UNH with little or no sailing experience. Many became regatta-winning sailors during their time at the University, and a few have gone on to prosperous careers in the yachting industry. To learn more, join us at one of our weekly meetings at 7 p.m. on Mondays upstairs in the demo kitchen classroom at Campus Recreation/Hamel Recreation Centre.
